Igniting Summer Fire - June 30- July 2, 2023
Summer invokes the element of fire. Fire is naturally expansive and opening. It is always ready to meet with and merge with what’s in front of it, without fear, and with incredible powers of transformation.
In this retreat, we will explore the open transformative power of summer itself. Participants of this workshop will use the poses of yoga to open their bodies and alleviate tightness from the cooler seasons. We will venture outside of our comfort zone, out of doors, and get the opportunity to interact with other like-minded individuals who are looking to expand their bodies, consciousness, and have a good time as summer suggests. Participants will have the option to hike accessible trails in beautiful rural Vermont, participate in yoga and meditation, have access to spa amenities, and massage. |
What you can expect:
- Yoga designed to open are release tension
- Mountain hiking, Cold river plunge, Meditative walks,
- BonFires & Drumming
- An inviting environment – ripe for deep connection, introspection, and meaningful conversations.
- The time and place for inner focus

Your Guides:
Paul Menard For more than two decades, Menard has evolved his yoga practice by embracing movement and mechanics with a profound appreciation for the intricacy and form of yoga. He applies his advanced teachings and postures, which are passionately executed. And yet, Paul yearned for a more spiritual practice, which led him to Karuna Center for Yoga and Healing Arts, an open and welcoming community. For seven years, Menard studied under Eileen Muir, completing over 500 hours of yoga teacher training, 500 hours of training in Shiatsu, and bodywork. Today, Menard is now the Director at Karuna, where he has fostered a thriving community – that he will bring to Enliven Spiritual Retreat for Men. Menard continues to study yoga, pranayama, meditation, sacred spiritual texts, Shiatsu, and bodywork. Always learning. Always applying. www.karunayoga.com/our-team |
